Delivery
Through the study of training methods, neuroscience, and the sympathetic nervous system, GTI delivers training that compliments and does not conflict with the body’s natural response to real or perceived threats and acceptance and processing of information.

By utilizing imaging technologies such as functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) and positron emission temography (PET), along with brain wave analysis technologies such as quantitative electro encephalography (QEEG), cognitive scientists have revealed how our brain operates when it receives and processes information. Combining learning methods conducive to the latest research along with age old techniques that deliver positive reactions time and time again, GTI is on the cutting edge of delivering material that is retained by the students.

GTI instructors ask pertinent questions and support our students in working out solutions on their own, giving them more ownership into the training program and allowing them their own moment of insight which assists in overcoming the brain’s natural resistance to change or reception of new information.

In an effort to remove any barriers to training, the Government Training Institute offers training at our facility in Idaho or anywhere in the United States, U.S. Territories or Coalition Countries in a mobile training format.

Curriculum
While military personnel do not have to concern themselves with the intricacies of case law (unlike law enforcement), they do have to be concerned with the rules of the Uniform Code of Military Justice and the Geneva Convention. These two sources or rules, laws and guidance do not change often but they still need to be addressed in every quality training program delivered to the U.S. Military.

A source of rapidly changing information that also needs to be addressed in all training delivered to our military personnel is that which is gleaned from AARs (After Action Reviews). GTI works diligently to provide our military students with the latest AARs from conventional and special operations forces that are incorporated into our training programs.

GTI has spent countless hours perfecting curriculum. Unlike many courses that provide a simple Power Point handout, students receive complete full sentence outlines for their courses that are detailed, easy to follow, visually stimulating, contain clearly defined objectives and provide the users with usable material for years to come.

Due to high material retention and an excellent reference source, many DoD personnel return to their duty stations as the resident expert in the field of study they received with GTI and serve in a “train the trainer” capacity upon graduating the course.
