GTI Monthly Mission Brief
GTI's President to Speak at the 2012 Counter Terror Expo

The Counter Terror Expo is the critically acclaimed, highly specialized, event for those who are tasked with the demanding and complex role of delivering a robust defense against the threat posed from international terrorism. In an age in which the threat from terrorism is both dynamic and continually evolving, the effective sharing of knowledge is critical in providing a response.

The Counter Terror Expo brings the foremost experts from government, armed forces, security services, law enforcement and academia from all over the world to share real-life experience, debate strategies, brainstorm issues, shape policy and define effective counter-measures. This is the only event to deliver a heavily researched, extremely relevant and uniquely high level centerpiece conference.

The event provides extensive learning through their issue specific workshop programs and is supported by a showcase exhibition revealing the very latest technology and techniques available to professionals in this vitally important arena. The Counter Terror Expo is the globally renowned event at the very top of the must attend list for counter terrorism professionals.

GTI president, Chadd Harbaugh, will be speaking to approximately 8,000 attendees from 78 countries at this year's International Counter Terror Expo April 25-26, 2012 in London, United Kingdom. Mr. Harbaugh was approached 8 months ago to present two speeches and to assist the ICTE director to construct tabletop exercises for conference attendees.

Mr. Harbaugh will be discussing proven counterterrorism tactics, techniques and procedures with an emphasis on improving human performance, and joint capabilities development systems for protecting crowded places. With the Olympics being held in London shortly after this year's conference, there will be a heavy emphasis on protecting crowded places at this year's event.

The president of the Ulysses Group, Andrew Lewis, will be discussing Combating Terrorist Financing. Chadd and Andy are the only two U.S. based speakers at this year's conference.
A Special Thanks To Our Clients

March and April had me very busy working with several clients across the US.

In March we traveled to Smyrna, DE to deliver our Swat Typing Class in our mobile training team format. Many thanks to Harvey Velott for his work behind the scenes.

In April we traveled to the beautiful city of Charleston, SC to teach a custom five day Basic SWAT Class. Our first time teaching in Charleston and it was a great honor working with their officers. A special thanks to Mike Thomas from Charleston for all his hard work in getting this class put together.

April 12-18th we were in Santa Ana for another round of Immediate Action Teams Classes. Always a pleasure to work with Santa Ana's Homeland Security Division and with the fine men and women who serve in the Orange County area.

If there are any training needs I can help with, please do not hesitate to contact me directly.
