 KPVI reporter Aaron Kunz attended GTIs training camp and prepared a special report that aired for five consecutive days on Idaho's news stations. It was the first time a member of the media was allowed to view the curriculum.

Introduction to Terrorism |
 The Government Training Institutes's Intro to Terrorism is an 8 hour lecture course designed for first responders and their supervisors and provides insight to the methodology, mindset and tactics used by terror organizations around the world.
The class is taught by GTI's Senior Terrorism Instructor, Peter N Spagnolo, who brings his real world experience from counter terrorism operations in Kuwait, Kenya, Oman and the United Arab Emirates. In this class, students learn how to:
- Expect the unexpected
- Recover from a strike
- Analyze strengths and weaknesses
- Identify terrorist traps for first responders
