New 2017 Glock 19

Glock has announced some new features that will be added to their already popular Gen 4 line up of handguns. The most noticeable features will include front cocking serrations that will be added to their Glock 17 and Glock 19 Gen 4. They will be calling these models the Glock 17 Gen 4 FS and Glock 19 FS which will also include steel sights, an extended slide stop lever, and an extended magazine catch. Along with Glock giving their Glock 17 and 19 a makeover they will also be offering a new Glock 19C Gen 4 which is the first time a compact compensated pistol will be offered in their Gen 4 family. Along with the Glock 19C they will also be offering its big brother the Glock 17 Gen 4 in a compensated option as well. Both models will have integral barrel ports which will maximize performance by reducing any recoil and muzzle rise that may occur during any rapid fire.

Along with the new makeovers to the Glock 17 and 19 Glock will also be bringing back two fan favorites the Glock 17L and the Glock 24. Both the 17L and the 24 are long slide handguns with a barrel length of ideal for competition shooters. The Glock 17L is chambered in 9MM while the Glock 24 is chambered in 40 S&W. Both the 17L and the 24 will still have the still popular Gen 3 frame and features. These new Glock Gen 4s and the return of the 17L and 24 are set to be released this summer.
