SHOT Show 2019 Recap

SHOT Show is always a very exciting time of year where companies from all around the world arrive in Las Vegas for a week of showcasing all their products and releasing new products for the year. You get the opportunity to go hands on with these products before most of the general public does and if your lucky might even get the opportunity to get some trigger time on some of the firearms too. For all the people that were unable to attend SHOT Show this year I wanted to show everyone some of the products that really caught my eye.

Heckler & Koch released a new long slide kit for their VP9 pistols. The slide kit can be used on any VP9 frame. So, whether you have the new VP9-B (with button mag release) or the paddle magazine release, the long slide kit can work on your frame.

Maxim Defense released their brand new PDX rifle which can be chambered in either 556 or 7.62x39. I had the opportunity to shoot this rifle during Industry Day At The Range and loved every second of it. I shot it in both calibers and was very impressed by how accurate it was even with its small package and while firing the rifle the muzzle stayed very flat and produced minimal recoil.

The FN booth was another booth I found myself returning to day after day. This belt fed beauty is one of the many reasons why I found myself returning to their booth at least once a day.

Now this was one of my favorite firearms of SHOT Show. This is the Gear Head Work

This bolt action pistol can be completely concealed in a backpack then taken out set up and deployed in a matter of seconds. I can think of a bunch of scenarios where this would be helpful for all types of people.
