WELCOME TO THE GOVERNMENT TRAINING INSTITUTE, INC.
The Government Training Institute (GTI) was founded in 2003 to address needs of state and local law enforcement agencies throughout the United States with research based training. Currently, over 30 different courses contain a cooperative curriculum base and ongoing research from the staff of GTI with 400 years of operational military and law enforcement experience. The Mission of GTI has expanded to include specialized training in the fields of Special Weapons and Tactics, anti-terrorism and terrorism countermeasures, police sniper operations, specialized patrol curriculum for high risk policing activities, uniformed and undercover narcotics, and a host of other Law Enforcement and Military topics relevant to the Post 911 world. This collection of courses is offered at either our Boise, Idaho training Headquarters or as a Mobile Training Team (MTT) worldwide. The Boise Headquarters Training Center offers agencies and units a full training facility featuring mat rooms, 10 thousand square feet of moveable walls for close quarters combat, a low light training area, two fully equipped classrooms, an arsenal of training weapons, 3 live fire facilities and secure weapon storage.
