Urban Search and Rescue Exercise Development, Evaluation and Facilitation
The Government Training Institute has contracted with organizations to provide Department of Homeland Security funded exercise development, evaluation and facilitation.
As the only training organization in the United States to receive approval from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security to deliver Office of Grants and Training approved TYPE I, II and III SWAT training, GTI is very knowledgeable in how U.S. DHS operates and how exercise development, evaluation and facilitation should be run.
GTI will dispatch our approved trainers and evaluators anywhere in the United States or U.S. Territories to develop, evaluate and or facilitate your exercise event.
The goal of any exercise should be safety, realism and challenge. With safety being a top priority, GTI conducts a thorough risk analysis of every event. Once the risk is identified, every reasonable effort is made to eliminate or mitigate the risk.
GTI facilitated exercises are as real as they come. We can provide explosions, smoke, trauma, gunshots, and wreckage to make the participants question whether the actions were live or simulated. We have trained operators serve as OPFOR (Opposing Forces or role players) and can provide Arabic, Farsi, Italian, French and Spanish languages to make the scenario even more realistic and challenging.
