Dennis O'Connor

Dennis O’Connor has three years of military experience with the United States Army Military Police, along with 25 years of experience in law enforcement. Dennis has participated in high- profile drug investigations. As a member of the S.W.A.T. team, he participated in numerous S.W.A.T. operations as an operator and team leader. Mr. O’Connor was responsible for starting the first Canine Unit, implementing a training curriculum and training police canine for the department. Along with the department's canine units, he has trained numerous canine units of outside agencies. Dennis is also a graduate of the Government Training Institute’s Type III advanced S.W.A.T. As a retired Master Sergeant with the Wilmington Department of Police in Delaware, he has served in the following divisions:

• Patrol Division
• Mounted Division
• Drug, Vice and Organized Crime Division
• Canine Unit
• Special Weapons and Tactics
• Mounted Division
