UNDERCOVER NARCOTICS SCHOOL
This is a 5 day (40 hour) course covering subjects related to narcotic investigations. Classes cover various types of narcotic investigations, operational and investigative planning considerations with emphasis upon undercover and rescue operations. The critical function of intelligence gathering and criminal source management with a special section on terrorism and the police officer is covered in depth. Writing search warrants, protecting your sources and court room testimony are discussed. Trends and Mexican drug culture are discussed. Specific investigations are explained, ie. Clan Meth Labs, pharmaceutical diversion, Indoor marijuana grows and parcel programs.
