LAW ENFORCEMENT COURSES Military Courses | Law Enforcement Courses TACTICAL BREACHING GTI’s tactical breaching course is designed for entry level and advanced SWAT team members. GTI’s tactical breaching course gives students a detailed look into tactical breaching and the ability to master the different methods. GTI’s tactical breaching course is built upon proven tactics. The course teaches students how to become effective breachers in a SWAT environment and utilize the many tools in the world of tactical breaching. Students will begin with an in depth classroom presentation on the various breaching methods and how to apply them in a tactical environment. GTI’s tactical breaching course is taught by veteran Special Operations soldiers, and SWAT officers who are qualified “Master Breachers”. By Day 2, officers will be exposed to mechanical breaching with the use of rams, hallagan tools, Quickie saws, and hydraulic spreaders. GTI’s tactical breaching course gives students the knowledge to choose the right tool for the job. GTI’s tactical breaching course is second to none. Students receive detailed instruction and hands on experience in every facet of tactical non-explosive breaching. By Day 3, officers will have been trained in ballistic breaching and the use of exothermic torches. Students will receive daily written tests and will have a final graded exercise, to ensure that they have a firm grasp on the practical application of tactical breaching.
