LAW ENFORCEMENT COURSES Military Courses | Law Enforcement Courses LEVEL II SNIPER SCHOOL This course incorporates an in depth review of the elements of Sniper I then quickly moves into advanced sniper techniques. This is an intensive 5 day course covering advanced rifle marksmanship, extensive sniper weapon systems, sniper log books, physiological influences, optics, ballistics to include coefficients, environmental factors, range determination methods, spotter duties and responsibilities, sniping in an urban environment, observation and reporting methods, camouflage & concealment, sniper team movement techniques and sniper weapon system maintenance. Emphasis of the course is on the ability to observe and correctly identify threat targets, correct for environmental factors and apply those corrections for increasingly longer and more difficult precision shots in both urban and rural environments while remaining undetected. Classroom work provides an in depth view of sniper operations, tools of the trade as well as sniper tactics and techniques. This is a trigger time intensive course involving range days that will bring the sniper to a high level of confidence in his weapon system and his personal capabilities. The sniper will be exposed to various targets at known and unknown ranges. The sniper will also be required to engage targets with time limited exposures and movers.
