GTI Curriculum
CONVOY OPERATIONS
The objective of this block of instruction is to give the students an in depth understanding of convoy operations in both rural and urban environments focusing on reactions to enemy contact, obstacles and riots. Students will learn what actions to take to enhance mission success, both individually and with their vehicles when reacting to ambushes, obstacles, riots and how to conduct vehicle ramming operations. The instructors for this block of instruction have over twenty years of combined experience conducting real world small unit mounted operations in both rural and urban settings. Platoons should plan on a long training day. Inert improvised explosive devices, reactive targets, and role players will be used.

- MINIMUM OF 8 HOURS PRACTICAL EXERCISES
STUDENTS WILL BE ENGAGING THREATS FROM MOVING PLATFORMS UTILIZING PERSONAL AND CREW SERVED TRAINING WEAPONS.
TO INCLUDE:
- Reaction to an ambush
- Reaction to obstacles
- Ramming operations
- React to a riot
- Vehicle operations include maneuvering, recovery, and evacuation operations.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND
Security and law enforcement professionals, military personnel or any other professions who are responsible for establishing security requirements for antiterrorism and force protection, crime prevention, and/or designing facilities to protect personnel and assets from terrorist and other criminals.
COURSE AVAILABILITY
The course is offered for any National Guard, Army Reserve, or other Unit. In addition, any Government agency or authorized Government contractor can arrange for and sponsor a workshop to be held at their location. Contact the Government Training Institute, Inc for registrations or mobile training. Courses designed specific for NGO's should contact GTI directly.
Courses for military units can be customized to directly fit METL.
